From the money she saved up from working her tail end off, to the money from selling her house. Lynn bought the old burned down ranch once known as "heartland". She had dreams for the place, and a name to stick to it, til she discovered the burned sign burred half way in the ground reading "Heartland". Though the H T and was missing, she figured itd be best if she kept the name. Knowing the secrets and rumors of the place being haunted, and once fairly successful. Shes decided to bring the place back to life as a breeding facility" holding great bloodlines of studs.

Paranormal History: A young couple married at the age of 18 had lived in Pinedale their whole lives. They were high school sweethearts, a great match if you asked anyone in the town. Their names were "Jack & Rose". Now Jack was a farmer by blood and knew how to take care of his lady, making her his main priority. Had passed away due to cancer, the man became silent and unsocial. The lady who had given him everything was gone, now only the elder man and two ranch hands remained. Years passed..
In the late 80's. A hay fire was started in the barn. Some people around pinedale will tell you. It was started by a couple of jealous people who had offered Jack a 'good' price for the ranch over the years. Unhappy wit the same answer, they finally just burned the place to the ground. It
