History: Silver Moon Ranch was the first Ranch that was built in 1810, The owner Was a well known Paint Horse breeder, named Samuel West Samuel moved to Paradise in 1808 at the age 28 he bought 4000 acres of land and started to build his Ranch. And two years later it was finally up and running. Samuel Specialized in breeding Paint horses, he loved the breed and was very successful in his business. In 1820 the now 30 year old man decided he was tired of living alone, So he started to court his book keeper, and five years after in 1825, they got married and about a year later they had their first child. They named him Ezra well over the years the breeding paints business was really booming. He had some of the top of the Line stallions and mares. And as Ezra got older, he would go with his father out and help do chores and help with the foalings and what not. Well time went on, Samuel left the ranch to his only son, his wife mary could not have any more kids after Ezra even though they tried and tried.

Well the couple got older and older, and Samule could not help his son around the Ranch anymore. By this time, Mary was bedridden and Sam could hardly get around. But Ezra was married and him and his wife were expecting their first child. Soon their first grandchild was born and that night the elderly couple retired to bed and did not wake up the next morning.

Over the Years Ezra and his wife had three kids, Two sons and a daughter.
